GarageWorks Celebrates Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 5

GarageWorks is excited to celebrate Manufacturing Day this Friday, October 5!

The annual celebration takes place on the first Friday in October and is meant to help manufacturers advance the public image of manufacturing. Created in 2012, MFG DAY brings manufacturers together to address challenges facing the industry and highlight the many positive aspects of working in manufacturing. From marketing to engineering, to product picking, the manufacturing industry is multi-faceted and alluring to future workforce generations.

GarageWorks Steel is a division of Acme Manufacturing, a leading metal materials manufacturer based out of Denver, Colorado. GarageWorks manufactures steel products for the garage door industry. Our strut and angle products are produced in-house and are made of steel, which is North America’s most recycled material. Our manufacturing facility is in Denver, CO, and we also ship products out of a warehouse in Cullman, Alabama.

The company originally began manufacturing perforated angle product for a local garage door distribution company and has expanded the product line to also include slotted angle, solid angle, strut, and miscellaneous metal products.

We join the manufacturing industry to celebrate the trade and create awareness surrounding job availability while connecting with future generations who are interested in working in manufacturing.
